Artisans began creating with aluminum in the 1950s, when it was more costly than gold! It enjoyed a resurgence of popularity, known as the Hammered and Decorative Aluminum Period, during the 1930s, 40s, and 50s. This stunning pair of heavy-gauge aluminum candelabras was hand-crafted by Buenilum, who was highly regarded for their quality. The nearly 7" hammered aluminum bases have three aluminum rod handles twisted and looped into beautiful 3-candle candelabras. Both are incised with the Buehner-Wanner Company's Buenilum mark. Impressive in stature, at 13-1/2" tall, these highly polished works bring substantial elegance to any room.
